Latest News 16.10.08

Come and join us this Sunday 19th October at 5.30 in our first ever game against local rivals Solent & Gosport Devils. Although we have never played them before, many of the players have played against each other many times before through the juniors and other teams, some EPL. The Devils feature ex Wightlink Raiders including Dean Phillimore and James Francis, while the Tigers are now home to several former Devils including Aaron Taylor, Alex Murray and Dave Webb. The Tigers are fully expecting to take the points to start clawing our way back up the table following the 4 point deduction earlier in the season. With both teams used to competing on the smaller surface I fully expect a fast, hard hitting, highly competitve game between two of the best teams in this league played out in front of a great crowd!
